Please call me at 415-949-7638 to discuss a fee structure that would work for both of us. I offer sliding scale fees. My current fees are comparable to other licensed psychologists in the area. In case any of the above does not work for you, I would be happy to provide you with referrals.

Your initial confidential phone consultation is free and will last up to 30 minutes. We can use that time to begin understanding your needs and goals, how they could fit with my therapeutic approach, or how psychotherapy works in general. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions to better determine therapeutic fit. It may be helpful to review Approach and Specialities section to help you to determine whether a phone consultation is appropriate.

During our first session together, I will first discuss confidentiality, therapeutic expectations, and review any logistical information regarding insurance. Next, the first session will likely not feel similar to subsequent sessions, as I will ask several questions regarding your personal history (mental health history, familial dynamics, current presenting concerns, etc.,).
Prior to the end of session, we will discuss your goals, experiences, and takeaways you would like to have from therapy.
Lastly, we will collaboratively determine frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or possibly more than once a week depending on your needs). Sessions are 50 minutes.

Sessions are currently virtual. However, sessions will be offered both virtually and in-person starting in 2024. With in-person appointments, being offered 1 day a week for clients who prefer in-person.
